How to add vintage cassette to new stereo

Hey all. New here. Forums have the best help so I thought I'd register up!

I got this sweet vintage Lafayette cassette deck id love to add to my 70s Chevy van. My van has a newer dual Bluetooth deck. Is there a way for me to integrate this into my stereo?

I have a 3.5mm aux that is also available on the deck... here is the cassette deck..

I wouldn't use it because the speaker grounds and chassis/power ground is all common, which can make it noisy. I think you'd be better off just using a "Walkman" into the 3.5mm aux input - or converting your cassette collection to high bit rate digital files. If you really want to run that deck, then use a line out converter to lower the speaker level outputs to a level that is acceptable for the 3.5mm aux input.
