JBL GTO1014D ot ID Tidal Audio?

I can get either of these subs for roughly the same price and both are almost indentical spec wise. I do prefer the screw-down type connectors the JBL has over the blade type the ID has (I hate those dam things), but that can't be the determining factor. Which one would you choose and why?

I don't paticualarly care for just shooting in the dark. It would be nice if I could get some input on these subs, but apparently no one has them, or has ever had any experience with them.

The Tidal OEM's are the same sub as the Image Dynamics ID series. Same specs, performance and sound just different looks and a farction of the price tag. Research ID subs on this or any other car audio forum and the results should give you the obvious choice between the 2.

I agree with Kenny on this one,we are talking roughly 80 dollar subs man, hell sell it if you don't like it,you have been after this "sub" for a while now.Just do it,you are acting as if you have to choose between diabetes or cancer.

Why? All the specs are the same but the price is half. It would be cool to do some sub/objective tests side by side.

My pair of Tidals just arrived yesterday. These are very nice looking drivers (they have the nice spring loaded VC connectors too). I'll be installing them in my enclosure tomorrow and I can't wait to hear how they sound! If they sound as good as they look they should be awesome!
