Glad to see the search is working for all.

Newbie tip:
voltage times amperage determines amplifier power.

Always drill pilot holes.
Add double the glue.
Use a circle jig for cutting holes for the subs.

Drugs are bad, mmmk?

Irons law:

Relates to either drivers, or enclosures....

For drivers:

1.) Low end extension.
2.) Small enclosure requirement.
3.) High effeciency.

2 of 3

For enclosures:

1.) High output.
2.) Low tuning.
3.) Low space.

2 of 3

Wrong.
The iron law relates to all things in that given three separate mutualy exclusive variables you get to pick two.

Like a vehicle:

Price
Performance.
Quality.

If you pick :

Price
Performance

You get bad quality.

BZZZTTZZ you win a Chevette.

Pick

price
quality

Ignore performance.

you get a YUGO.

Pick

Performance
Quality

And to hell with the cost:

Pick one or more:

Tesstarossa
Diablo
BMW
Porsche
Emilio Bugati

Get the picture?
That is real life.

Remember to use grommets and wire ties on every cable, never skimp on proper size fuses or relays.

Yep.
Another tip:
Silicone is a superior mounting format for subs and or components.
no drilling.
no punctures.
no fractured MDF.

Picture a drunken and tired person doing an install:

Now what are the chances of a sub surviving not being punctured?
Or MDF cracking.
Or sub being placed with logo tilted.

Take a silicone cartridge place a thick bead of said silicone around sub install hole in fiberglass or MDF or concrete or glass box.
Connect wires to sub.
Place sub on hole.
Go back to house and play some CD`s.
Go back to box and place inside vehicle.
Listen to music.

No fuss.
No drilling.
No searching for a proper drill bit.
No moaning on how to fix a cracked MDF board.
No tilted sub logo.
No air leaks.
No waiting as drill batt. recharges.
No trying to remove broken drill bits from box.
No misdrilled holes.
No T-nuts.
No cone punctures.
No drilled fingers.
