Newbe With an Alpine 7502 Question

I obtained an Alpine 7502 (old school two shafts) I can not figure how to get blinking knobs off. Little help?

Posting in "General" or the "Old School" sections would get you some hits .

The knobs on older shaft style radios generally pull straight off. There should be two hexagonal nuts behind the knobs designed to go on either side of the dash when you feed the shafts through to secure the radio, and a back strap to support the rear is a good idea.
