Pioneer avic 7100 and u connect blutooth not happy

So as it says. Everything else works fine. My maestro keeps all of my steering wheel controls and such. But when I go to make a phone call the pioneer connects and then re boots the radio. Similar to me turning the truck off. Very strange and I have contacted maestro to no luck. The pioneer firmware is upgraded and the maestro is up to date as well. Any help with this would be great. Thanks
