Dimming problems

I have a 95 Honda accord lx 2.2. I just recently got a boss 1100w amp pushing a pioneer 12.

I'm having light dimming issues. The ground is solid to a bolt on the bumper. Do I really need a new alternator. Car is worth $500 haha. Any help would be appreciated.
