another noob

Howdy y'all. I decided to give this place a spin.

This will give you an idea where I'm going. I'm starting from scratch. Ain't a single wire in this truck. I do have a single DIN hole cut (poorly) in the dash and the gas tank is NOT going behind the seat.
Gonna be a fun project involving speakers mounted to 1/2" plywood in the doors (see pic 2) and maybe a sub or two with an amp. A hidden antenna is also being considered.

Nice old truck to work on there. Should be fun to work on. I would be you could get a set of 8" in the doors and some tweets up high and have a nice sounding system without getting to crazy.

I'm not sure how much room I have as the windows are out. I plan on turning the doors into speaker systems if possible. In other words, I like your thinkin'
