Upgrading my components

Ive recently upgraded the sub and amp in my truck and I believe the next step will be to upgrade the front components. I am interested in Hertz 6.5" components. The Alpines that I have do alright, but seem the lack the volume and sound quality potential of the new amp. I am new to this forum and I am also fairly green to audio terminology. The alpine woofers seem to lack punch and the tweeters make acoustic guitar strings undefined; more like a symbol crash than a well defined strum. The amp seems to be tuned well, but something is missing. Any advise appreciated. Here is list of my current equipment:

2002 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab
Head Unit- Kenwood-BT555U (2.5V pre-amp)
Front- Alpine SPS-610C Type-S 6-3/4" components (80 Watts RMS/4 ohms)
Rear- JL Audio C2-400X Evolution™ C2 Series 4" coaxial (50 Watts RMS/4 ohms)
Subwoofer-JL Audio CS112TG-TW3 Sealed PowerWedge (400 Watts RMS/2 ohm)
Amp- JL Audio HD 900/5 channel class D (100Wx4@4ohms+500Wx1@2ohms)
