Memphis SA4.50 Special Application Amplifier

If anyone is having a problem with the Memphis SA 4.50 amplifier shutting down while operating at low volume, there is a fix. I ran into this problem after having two of these installed in my Honda Civic and unfortunately had to replace them with another product.

Since that time I have discovered a fix and have posted it here... http://www.mfk-projects.com/Blog/Blo...ics/sa450.html It involves disassembly of the amplifier and removing a surface mount resistor (R27C) from the main board. This will likely void the warranty but it will resolve the problem.
