IROCthestreetz is on a distinguished road

Do I need a separate crossover if my HU has one?

I'm look to buy a set of front speakers to finish my build but I have no idea if I need separate crossovers even though I have high and low pass filters on the headunit. Id assume I do not but I can't find any information online regarding my question and knowing if I do or don't need them will influence what speakers I purchase.
My build is 1 SQ hdc315, sq22002.2, sq-90, sq 4x6 triaxles for the rear, and a pioneer avhx-7700bt. Thank you.

If you are going with component speakers up front you will want to use the separate crossovers. In conjunction with your HU's highpass, it will allow you to effectively bandpass the mid, allowing it to only play the frequencies it was intended to play.

HP/LP filters are required if you're using components, or sending a wide band through a single channel and desiring them to be split up.
