whats is it going in and what are you using for speakers for the front and then what are the ohms for the p1 subs so we can recommend amps.you should not use stock speakers unless money is tight and then only until you save for some components for the front.

this is going to go into my dodge ram 1500. i plan on using stock speakers just because i cant afford new ones. the p1 subs are 4ohms and i have 2 of them. then i have a pioneer touch screen that i am putting in. i plan on buying this one http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/produ...n_US&p_status= would this be fine?

i also already have a 800 watt amp(some off name company says like Z-edition mosfet 2 channel). its one my brother gave me. would this be too much power? i think it is an 800 watt amp because that is what it says but it also says Z400.2 which makes me think 400 watt? any input is greatly appreciated.

amp is prob 400watts by two channels so 800watts total what kind of fuses in the amp ? if they are something like two 20 amp or on 40 amp then more then likely its only going to put out 200rms a channel which would be good for those subs
