Can my head unit power these 6x9's

Hi guys,

I was just wondering could my Alpine IDA X305
HTML Code:
http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/alpine-idax305-digital-media-receiver-p-8689.html
4x50w

could power just 6x9's like Vibe blackdeaths
HTML Code:
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/vibe-blackdeath-qb69.html
or any other decent 6x9 speakers.
I currently have the head unit powering my components but it sounds no better than stocks.

Thanks in advance

Real output on that head unit is like 18 watts RMS x 4, which is on the low side for a pair of tweeters nevermind anything reproducing the full frequency range. The lower the frequency you wish to reproduce, the more power it takes to properly do so. For best results, use an honestly rated external amplifier.
