The DSP8.8 is a revised version of the a WiFi streaming DSP shown by Phoenix Gold last year at CES. It permits lossless audio and Hi-Res Audio streaming via WiFi. Users can plug a USB directly into the unit for playback or stream from an iOS or Android device.

The DSP8.8 also uses WiFi to interface with a tablet, PC or Mac to tune and control the carís sound system. Using a tablet, for example, you can regulate voltage and change channels. And your smartphone can be a remote control for the DSP.

The DSP8.8 has 6 channel low level inputs and 8 channel high level inputs and 8 preamp outputs. It accepts a Toslink input.

It also has a 30 band parametric equalization per channel.

Retail price for the DSP8.8 is an expected $849.
