USAmps class T

I was reading a USAmps owner's manual and the author seemed pretty excieted about their class T technology amplifiers.

Did they invest too much into this technology and it hit a curve in the road derailing USAmps off the map?

Actually, US Amps was sold to Mr. Kim of California, which included Dirk one of the original design engineers, existing designs and the Name; that was about it. They, in an attempt to flesh out the company's line, purchased Kove Audio, and with that got Hart Audio, which didn't really add to their name recognition, so at the time, RE was up for grabs, so they purchased it too .. all so they could start to build a woofer line for US Amps .. the kids that knew RE Audio didn't really know about US Amps, and the direction of the company was changing .. they lowered the design and build quality of the US Amps line, eventually killing off the name and renaming their electronics product with the same as their woofer line, thus RE Audio .. which has now, mostly, become a private brand for Sonic Electronics.

The end.
