Question recommend sub for sealed low wattage

12 inch in sealed 1.25 ft3 or smaller but only 300 watts RMS. I was thinking maybe a Solobaric Classic might fit the bill as good as any other since they are rated at 300 watts and for .88 ft3 sealed but getting hard to find so any suggestions?

^^ I'd be tempted to use one of these over Kicker if you want SQ

^^ or one of these if you want more presence/output

efficient on 300wrms and .88ft3 is great (2ohm)

4ohm and .88ft3 is great

this 10" would do well in 1.1ft3 sealed

2 ohm and could do 1.25ft3 sealed

Image Dynamics ID12

At $99 this is a hard deal to beat for this quality of sub.

What are thoughts on the Infinity 1200s shallow mount?

Shallow mounts are usually very limited in terms of output compared to a traditional (read "deeper") subwoofer design.

There are a few ways to get lower frequency output- cone area, excursion, motor strength. Shallow woofers fail in 2/3 of those parameters compared to traditional woofers .

You could do a pair of JBL GT-5 10's($80) in 1.25ft3 sealed with almost 1lb of polyfill, and 300wrms @ 2 ohm. Would sound better and be louder than most any other single 12" (unless the 12" was ported)

I'd go with the SSA Dcon for you app.
