No sound after amp install

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and I've come to the experts (you) to help with an issue. I just installed a Kicker Impulse 354xi amp in my 2006 Pontiac G6. I recently put in a Kenwood Excelon X700 receiver. I also installed a set of JBL GX300c speakers in the front doors. No sub yet.
I put everything in and it worked, so I started putting the panels back together. I got about halfway through putting everything back together when I decided to check the sound one more time. This time I got no sound from any source (radio, cd, Bluetooth). Well, actually, when I turned the sound ALL the way on, I got just a tiny bit of sound from the stock rear speakers. This was true for all music sources.
What troubleshooting tips can you all provide?

Thank you!

Oh, I forgot that for sound t3sting purposes, I faded the so7nd to the front so I knew exactly what speakers I was hearing. So that explains why I was hearing much from the rear. But I checked all connecti9ks from the receiver and the amp and everything looks good. Still nothing on the front speakers though.

Check your ground. Make sure the surface is free of paint and rust. check all your wiring and fuses.
