I really don't think that thats something people should have to pay for. I mean If they want you to design it, cut the pieces, AND ship them so that all that they have to do is put it togeather then yes, I would charge them for that. But if some one is new car audio & is willing to try building a box themself & just need some coaching for the first time or two, then most people on here don't mind helping out http://caraudioforum.com/showthread.php?t=323305 .

Now for some one like yourself that has been around car audio for awhile (Yes, I guess you screwing stuff up does count as experience) admits that they are just too lazy to figure it out yourself & would rather pay someone else to do it, then I guess there would be a few customers like you. But for the most part if someone just needs a design for simple enclosure build, I have seen several people on here offer that free of charge.

In that case I could use the help. Ive always bought prefab boxes of the ebay. Im working with 2 Diamond D3 15s. Id like slot port with about 3 cubes per sub tuned in the low 30s. Can you help. I got the tools but never really did understand it.

Often times you wind up with someone who wants more then egging on. They want actual dimensions, cut sheets, etc. That is more then a free service IMO.

Yes, I do see what you mean. I guess if designing/building enclosures is what you do for a living then it wouldn't be right to expect someone to do that for free. But I'm not on this forum just to make money & would rather show someone how to do it the first time, so that they will have more confidence and be willing to do it thereself the second time. Now if they have little to no interest in learning for themselves, then yes, there are several people on this forum to have design, build, and ship you an enclosure (for a fee ofcourse) so that all you have to do is plug in your subs & drive.

jasonpaul does some work, i'm not sure specifically if he does cuts for people but it's worth a shot. you can try getting him here or at powermaxelectronics.com
