Crossovers

I am installing a set of component speakers (Infinity Reference 6820cs 5"x7"/6"x8). I am installing the woofers in the stock rear door locations, and the tweeeters in the stock "sail" locations. I already have installed "full range" speakers (also Infinity Reference) in the front stock door locations.

Should I use the crossovers included in the component package, or should I use the crossovers on my 4 channel amplifier(Sony XM-ZR704)...or both?

I can't figure out how I would wire in the tweeters to the crossover, so I am just considering the rear woofer choice.

Thanks for any advice.

Just for your information, Passover is a Jewish holy day. I think you mean crossovers (you don't want to sound like a dumbass).

The crossover should have a +,- input from the deck or amp, and an output for the midbass, and tweeter. Does yours have these?

Okay..so I am a dumbass. (and my wife is Jewish...to add to the dismay.)

However...should I use the component system's CROSSover or the one on the amp..or both...or does it even matter?

Use the one that came with the speakers. They're called Passive Passovers.
