I saved up 1000$ to spend on my car.

I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX-L

everything is stock...the speakers and head unit is garbage...

So I mainly listen to hip-hop...yeah its garbage but i like the bass lol...

im thinking about 2 subs, 1 is fine too....also new speakers inside the car, assuming they will be needed

Also I want a new head unit that works with iPhones and has a aux input

Now what i mean by max budget is 1000$ is assuming there is a big difference between the cheaper one and the 'better' one...

im hoping i have enough left over to get my windows tinted lol...but my sound system is my main priority.

Will you be installing everything or does that price include the install as well?

I think usb in front is ugly and makes the deck look bad. Look on craigslist for any good stuff, you should be able to find an amp for cheap. Not that its my fav or anything but a type r is a good sub that will get loud and have decent sq.2 of them in a good box with 500-1000wrms would pound. I would look into kenwood excelon, pioneer premier, and alpine for decks. Don't get rear comps, save the money and get better front comps. A couple good sets that are cheap would be cdt comps, ppi comps, alpine type r comps. Get 4g power and ground wire from knuconcepts and 8g if it will work for the 4chann. Do the install yourself and ask us for advise to get it setup and installed proper.

you can safely fit a single 15 ported in the 6th gen accord trunk and still be able to get to the spare :D

is your 1000 budget including installation? are you doing the install?

you should really look into doing it yourself or at LEAST part of it. Its really not that hard and it will save you a TON of money. The guys on here will help you out big time regarding your install. If you do decide to get it installed professionally do you have a ballpark figure of what they said it might cost?

That's what I'm saying. Get the hu and comps new and buy used amps....that will save a ton.

tint is expensive unless you do it yourself. I've done two of my own cars and it didn't come out too bad key is to keep your razor blade sharp, if you go that route watch some how to videos and buy 3-4more razor blades than the tint kit comes with. the back window is the only tricky one, I did the back window on my Subaru with the 6inch tint strips and ended up with very minor gaps between strips. I haven't attempted my corollas back window. I'd get the rear done professionally and tackle the doors yourself. get it very wet with the solution in the kit and work that squeegee like no other to insure no air bubbles. I never did get any air bubbles when I finished my tint jobs, the only places I messed up were where my razor wasn't perfectly sharp and I tore the tint a bit.

as for a stereo judging by your music taste you simple want a loud stereo, check out 2 alpine type R's or 1 12" or 15" FI BL find an amp that will do 1kw rms at the load you need (I'd suggest cadence) and get some cadence CMWKIT's for about $80. find an amp that does 75-125watts rms x2 @ 4ohm

What do you consider expensive? I've never paid more than ~$175 and that was for an Outback wagon. For a sedan it shouldn't cost more than $150. If they want much more than that, look elsewhere.

That's exactly the route I went. I spent $150 on amps, building the box myself. Even with a $300 sub, $200 comps, and a $200 deck (which is more than I'm planning on that) that's a good $150 I can afford to spend on the install and keep it under $1000.

That's what I did at first but recently I've been buying new gear. I got both my amps for $100, my alpine 4 chann was $40 and my jbl 600.w was $60.
